Steering wheel is suddenly sensitive
Today, when I started playing ATS, the first thing I noticed was how sensitive my steering wheel is now. The slightest movement of it in real life causes it ingame to turn all the way in that direction. In other games that use a steering wheel, this doesn't happen. Only today this happened in ATS. What the heck is going on?

Did you check if any settings had been changed somehow?
VanTsepesh Feb 12, 2016 @ 8:34pm
That happened to me as well. Just double check your settings mine had somehow been changed to steering wheel which was the problem.

I had this problem in ETS2 with my xbox 360 controller, the slightest nudge of the stick sent the truck steering wheel spinning to full lock. I checked the settings as others have mentioned and for some reason the controller was set to wheel. I changed it to gamepad and everything was fine. Maybe your wheels been detected as a gamepad and that's casuing the issue?

It's still super sensitive!!

I have a G27 steering wheel, and everytime I reset windows 10 I have to go into the settings for the G27, because if I don't then the wheel defaults to 270 degree steering even though in the settings it says 900 degree. Once I have gone into the settings, all I need to do is exit for it to return to 900 degree. I assume this is something to do with the windows 10 drivers for the G27. Maybe the problem you have is similar?

No, I don't have a logitech. I have a Thrustmaster xbox 360 wheel that turns 100 degrees.

But are you using Windows 10?
TheRealBelmemes Feb 13, 2016 @ 5:49pm
Yes.
Truckers Silver Feb 13, 2016 @ 5:51pm
It'll probably be using the windows installed drivers! Try finding drivers on the Thrustmaster site.

And if it says "Comes with Windows 10", send them an email telling them about the problem.

I have steering sensitivity set to middle in game menu, and 900 degrees of rotation in profiler. Feels good, and rotation of my G25 matches rotation of in-game wheel.

This happened to me too all the force feedback had been changed aswell

Has this just happened since the 1.0.0.4 update?
TheRealBelmemes Feb 13, 2016 @ 6:17pm
It has updated recently, and this problem started recently, so yeah. Maybe the devs should be alerted.

Good idea.
