For radio stations, open Radio in the game and click on "Update from internet" button on the bottom.
Looking further into this, mp3s aren't supported on Linux :/ I threw some ogg files into that folder and they work fine. Internet radio may be using mp3s which is why they don't work. :(
it's been a low priority for the last few years in ETS2, and that isn't likely to change in ATS.
Heck, they just fixed opengl issues in ETS2 that allows using map mods reliably without texture issues, I've had that issue as long as I've had the game.
on linux they would go in /home/user_name/.local/share/American Truck Simulator/
Thanks Dude! The In game instructions were not that good.
Not to be a jerk, but my answer would be to run Amarok in the background and to hell with the built-in radio.
I use Linux Manjaro ... I tried everything I knew, the solution is:
Use a player in the background, decrease the volume of the effects, in order to listen to music more ...Enjoy!
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks a bunch, SCS.
