Mods with demo?
I am trying to use real economy mod with Demo, but it doesn't appear in-game. They say that Demo is only limited by amount of jobs and area (California only), but is otherwise the same game as full version.

I downloaded this from ATS mods section http://atsmod.net/real-economy-v1-0-the-realistic-economy-mod-for-ats/
Installed in the same manner as I used to install mods for ETS 2.

Can anyone tell me if it's just because of Demo or something else?

P.S. FFB plugin works fine.

dont think demo will let you mod it

Ok, after trying to make it work for a while I tried another economy mod, which worked (at least appeared in mod manager), so the issue must be with that particular one.

Looks like the best thing to do now is continue playing ETS 2 and wait for more realistic and tested mods for ATS. Fortunately, the demo is only limited in amount of jobs you can do per profile, so I will be able to check back on it from time to time.

Yup, same results. I'm guessing the read-protect password have something to do with that. Other mods seems to be working fine with the demo.

Ah, it's not an .scs file, but rather a password protected RAR archive with renamed extension. No wonder it's not "working"!

Any SCS file not created by SCSSoft is only an archive renamed that can be extracted with 7zip or similar. Incidentally, I pass-protected some mods that were working previously and they didn't anymore.
