Installing Mods for ATS on Mac
So , i bought ATS on Steam for Mac/OSX , Long story short , i can't find the mod folder , i can't even find the local files in Finder , i can only open them trough steam , and the mod folder isn't there , anybody have the same problem? Thanks.

Click on the desktop, go to Go, Go to Folder, type in "~/Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator".

There are a couple different library folders on the newer OSs and I don't believe the method listed above will take you there since it's likely a hidden folder by default. Have you tried the same path as above, but simply holding down the option button when selecting the Go menu? That will display the hidden library folder in question.

Ok,..in simple clear terms. I'm a Mac user too so take my word for it.

Click on Finder, then at the top task bar select Go to bring down the drop-down menu. Then hold down the 'ALT' key. This will expand the drop down menu to expose more options in that list.

In the drop-down menu, select Library, then select Application Support, then select American Truck Simulator. The mod folder should certainly be there.

I've found the mod folder and dropped compressed zip devil files into it and they show up on the game in the mod menu but when i look for them at dealerships the trucks are no where to be found can someone help?

Gotta unzip first then drop the unzipped files into the mod folder

What's wrong? Did you not read my answer to the OP in February (see above), on how to locate the Mod folder on a Mac? No need to create one. It's already there!

Do u have also unzip rar. files? Cause I just downloaded a vehicle mod and put it on the mods folder and doesn't work.

Hi,
I just transfered ATS 2 my MBP 15 inch...I moved my ats folders 2 /Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator...I only see my steam workshop mods...I can't see the mods i downloaded...Do u guys have a way 2 get them to reappear? Thanks, Jeff
