Direct X and Open GL?

Usually I just use the default launcher, but who should use the direct X or Open GL launcher, and why?

I have a gtx 750ti 2gb, should I use any of those or just stick to the default launcher? I wouldn't mind having a few more fps...

Reboot your computer. Then disable your Kapersky antivirus temporarily. And restart Steam and run it as administrator if you don't already. Right click on your Steam shortcut and select "run as administrator".

Then verify the game:

Right click on your game in the Steam Library and select "Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Cache" and let that work.

Then try to launch the game

What about scaling? Did you set it higher than 100%? I want to use at least 125%, because the picture is too blurry at 100%, but fps rate will range between 35 and 60, depending on the scenery. In my case, my cpu is kind of weak: i5 750 2.67 ghz. I can't upgrade anything without changing the motherboard (I got a 6 years old motherboard with legacy bios on it).

Cwar_Mouse, I'd advise disabling one of your monitors. You're working on a spanned display from what I can see and this could possibly cause you issues in certain games until Nvidia updates the drivers with a profile for the game.

Also why is your system stating 2x logical video cards when only one is installed? Is there on board graphics?

Edit: forget what I said. Margalus fixed it. Anti-virus is sometimes just as bad as having a virus :)

:) If he has told at the start that he has 8gb of RAM, it's obvious that he has a 64 bits OS; one 32 bits based wouldn't be recognizing more than 4gb.

Yup, seems that way. I was trying to get OBS to work with ATS soI could stream. No probs with ETS2 but with ATS I only captured part of the startup screen, then nothing after. I went in and specified DirectX at startup and all was fine. Specifying OpenGL gave me the previous problems again. I guess at one point I must have changed options and forgot, but ATS was dutifully remembering for me.
