sorry it took so long to respond. I first had to research what on earth you were talking about, then how to do that. Removing ALL information has had no effect whatsoever, it still skips the ones it doesn't want to play.
Conversion to mp3 usually doesn't add id tags. From what I can gather, ID tags are used to display jpgs when playing the mp3 through iTunes or whatever. Album art, that kind of thing.
G'day Ryu,
I've been looking for such an app to strip/edit ID3 tags from MP3 files, but have not found one YET, that is Free to USE as well as DOWNLOAD.
I've googled for "free id tag editors for mp3 files"
One looked good [said it was free] but found it to be FREE to download and use on max of 10 files for free. Then you had to pay [plenty] to get a full license.
Do you know of some [one] app that is open source or is totally FREE to download and use?
Cheers mate.
Vernon
Perhaps I should go back and see if there is a workaround.
Thanks Ryu.

Thanks. I removed ID3v1 and ID3v2 Tags and now my songs play in the game. I used MediaMonkey to remove the ID3 tags
Go to ninite.com and download MediaMonkey music player. Go to Tools/Advanced Tag management and select Clear ID3v1 and v2 Tags...
It worked for me and free.
