Yes. There is a 3rd party mod out that does multiplayer just like they did with ETS2.

yes but you have to get TruckerMP mod and have played 24 hours

There is no official Multiplayer, however there is an unofficial MP that's available to play.

Are you sure the limit is 24hrs? At first it was only 2hrs and then they would let you play.

Anyway..
I just played my first multiplayer session today and I have to say.. the servers are great no lagging whatsoever.. And the thing is other drivers seem to be more civilized in ATS compared to ETS2. The majority of players are respecting the traffic rules. I hope this stays the same.

No they were talking about increasing the limit from 2hrs to 24hrs so it may be true, but the thing is I've played with some friends of mine and I'm sure they haven't played 24hrs yet..

Can someone give me a link to a tutorial or something like that? Please, cuz i just got the game and i'd like to play it in MP, sure after some singleplayer game sessions :)

There isn't really much to it. Once you have 2 hours or more of gameplay, go to truckersmp.com click 'Register' top right and then download the mod via the front page. Then just run the launcher and continue playing as you would in a normal game.

First time I hear about them talking about an extension. The 2 hour playtime is still not changed.

Its awesome.
I came across 40 trucks in a line in my lane on a two way highway. Plus other trucks going by the otherway.
Learning to back up while delivering, meetings along the way.
Meeting people who chat and use teamspeak or other. Loving the game, cant wait for more.
Anyone... add me if ya want, the more the better.

Thx mates a lot... I've already got my first hour, and i'm thinking about going further, but one more question, if a friend of mine has the game cracked, can i somehow invite him to play with me? Or i should try to convince him to buy the game :)

When you register, it checks your Steam profile on whether you own ATS or otherwise you are not allowed. Not possible to play with cracked version.

is the mod any fun if you have no friends?

i can't justify buying the game for MP if it's only fun with friends or you're a streamer

I don't really know... i just bought the game, i made my 2 hours of game, and later this day i'll try to make it MP and i'll see how this works... if you can play only with your friends, please Add me cuz i don't wanna play alone... :)
