What We Expect / Want / Hope For From Arizona......
So, Arizona is the first additional state that will be added to our already beloved ATS, but what do we think or want from it?

For those of you stateside, what AZ specific laws / rules might there be? What Arizona landmarks, cities, buildings, new industries might appear with the AZ addition? Tell those of us on the other side of the pond(or elsewhere) what YOU THINK we might expect, as AZ experts.

Are we gonna have to learn another set of speed limit rules like the 55 limit in CA?

For everyone else, what would you simply LIKE to see in the new state to represent the US and AZ specifically? What does the game CRY OUT FOR that could be added in or with AZ to push ATS to higher levels?

**************
NOTE: We already have bug threads and general suggestion threads, so I'm thinking of things that can be ADDED to the game, and not mods or changes / fixes....but they don't have to be realistic, it's up to you!

So I'll start it off, but I;m gonna be purposefully vague.....

I don't think there is enough variety of vehicles on the roads, so I would like to see some vehicle model / type / shape / design that maybe represents AZ on wheels, if there is some such thing, that can be added to give more variety throughout the whole game.

Anyone else?

General game content is not linked to states, so I don`t understand the question.

Besides that:

MONUMENT VALLEY
GRAND CANYON

Yay

Not having stop signs at every streetlight. We don't have that.
p.stucki - thatnks for your suggestions.

Sorry, just to clarify - I was trying to ask for tiny litle things that may be added with the AZ state drop that may add to the whole game, as well as state specifics like the ones you have added...and not big things that will take huge code changes like rest stop changes and moving construction sites etc.....

Hope that makes it clearer...

I also wondered if we'd have a whole new set of speed limits laws to get to know in AZ, like the 55 limit in CA....

AZ has a 75 MPH limit for cars and Trucks

I definitely want to see Monument Valley, but I think that will come with Utah, even though AZ always seems to get credit for that one.

edit - at least, most of the scenic parts are in Utah...

Which cities do you think will feature? Will there be as many as CA or as few as NV?
Ultum Feb 8, 2016 @ 3:30pm
As far as cities, it'd be great to see Flagstaff down to Sedona (Oak Creak Canyon). Then of course, Prescott and Payson. Then the obvious, Phoenix, Tucson. Maybe Winslow as well?

I just hope that they do the Grand Canyon justice. Before I visited it in person, I would see picture of it and think "okay, that's pretty cool."

Then I actually got the chance to visit Arizona and walk up to the edge myself...it is absolutely awe-inspiring in person! The contrast between the barren terrain and the canyon could not be greater, which is what creates the aesthetic appeal. If they can replicate a fraction of its real life appearance, I'll be happy.

Also...maybe a road along the side for some precariously thrilling driving?

As far as cities are concerned, street signs on the Interstates confirm

- Phoenix
- Kingman
- Flagstaff
- Ehrenberg
- Yuma

They are all in western / central Arizona. I guess there will also be Tucson and maybe two or three others in the east.

For how far ATS shall spread out someone linked this from SCS's facebook:

https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/t31.0-8/12696902_938813559547257_8104541416215118906_o.jpg

I'm hyped to see that it'll spread out nicely, yet seems to also be tiny in places. I guess I'm paranoid.

-------

I guess I'm vague here, yet shall mention that I want to see more vehicle types from Arizona also appearing in other states, the 'mesa biome' itself that Arizona is known for, as with the airport in the middle of Phoenix, and everything Arizona natives (those that live there) that know more than I do Googling.

Add in anything that's similar to F-35's flying over (with sound) among many others. I have to do more Google searches to see what each state is known for on the road side of things :P
I hope they review each traffic light and remove the stop signs and stop painted on the road, even if that delays release. I hope they do the same with California and Nevada.

Tombstone and the Hoover Dam.
