Some weird rubberbanding effect

So I've posted this issue before here and on the offical ATS forums and no one has even replied yet and it's really annoying.

When driving I get this really weird rubberbanding lag affect everywhere outside. Like cars will move ahead an inch than jump back an inch kinda thing. Like when you get rubberbanding in an online game.

I notice it a lot more when going 30 mph or around there and really notice it when turning my head or the truck. I've tried all kinds of settings, from low to high to ultra and all of them have the same issue.

Any ideas? I'm running Windows 10 on an acer laptop with an NVIDA Geforce 840m graphics card.

I have the same issue, you have to play windowed and remove vsync i think

Hmmm... thanks. I hate playing in windowed but if it removes it than I guess that's what I'm going to do. Thanks, hopefully they get a fix out soon for it.

So that worked but is there a way to have windowed fullscreen? I keep seeing an annoying white bar under the game window and can't figure out how to get rid of that

I'd try borderless gaming program https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming I use it often.

Yeah you can use borderless gaming for full screen but you cant see the truck in the menu and you have weird white lane in game (like antialiasing off)

mine did that when i ran the game in open gl try running in direct x

put some insulation tape along the bottom of your monitor
