Cant get Sequential Shifting to work

Logitech G27

I cant for the love of god get sequential shifting to work. I usually play using H Shifter fully manual but I figured for the hell of it, id try the other modes.

Simple Automatic... Gas go, Brake reverse... wooot

Real Automatic... Gas go, Brake stop. 3rd gear drive, 4th gear reverse and neutral is neutral.

H Shifter... Splitter... Range... Splitter+Range maddness, all works.

Sequential... I get nothing. I figured 3rd gear up then neutral would shift up and 4th gear down then neutral would shift down and the clutch would be optional... but nope. Im just stuck in neutral

Am I missing something???? Im probably having a serious brainfart so any help would be nice

Did you assign "shift up" and "shift down" key or button assignments?

You have to go under Keys & Buttons and assign the secondary functions for Shift Up and Shift Down to Joy Button 10 (3rd gear) and Joy Button 11 (4th gear)

Why is this not default when the G27 is selected under controls..

I have those assigned i just cant seem to get reverse working...
