Teleport command "goto" not working with LA
Whenever I type in "goto los angeles" nothing happens, or when I type in "goto la" I end up in Vegas. Anyone got a clue?

Try typing los_angeles :-) hope it works. It seems cities with 2 part names e.g. los angeles require an underscore between them.

You might be able to use "goto angeles" or something similar but not sure if that would get confused with Port Angeles in Oregon.

Sometimes you can use abbreviations of place names. For instance typing fran will take you to San Francisco and in the case of Los Angeles you can use the abbreviation of los. However, with the game expanding and place names becoming similar it gets harder.

So if using an abbreviation of a name does not work then you need to type in the full name. In the case of a multi-word name try the abbreviation of the first or second name first and if that fails type the full name using the underscore as said above.

You can also use "" e.g. goto "los angeles"

Also the full internal name should work: goto los_angeles

That had already been said in a previous post and I also referenced it in my post.

So the following can be use to go to Los Angeles.

go to los
go to los_angeles
go to "los angeles"

Yout can use parts of the name too..as soon the game thinks it knows where you want to go it works..for example "goto to ang" or "angel" or maybe simply "an" could work too..very very helpful at the russian map in ETS ;-)

Sorry perhaps I should have explained myself better. The internal name is independent of the textual names and isn't necessarily just replacing spaces with underscores (although in the vast majority of cases it is). So, for instance grand_canyon_village probably won't work but g_canyon_vlg will. This also plays in where there are duplicate names across states, so carlsbad would take you to the California town of that name but you need carlsbad_nm for the New Mexico one.
