Free Roam ?
So, basically, is there a way to just really drive freely ?
Without any money/job/unlock stuff to worry about ?
I don't care at all about all of that, I just want to drive from point A to point B at my liking, without any objectives or restrictions, no marker etc...
I just want to pick a truck and be dropped into the map.

You could simply not take a job when you buy your own truck.
MoonRaven Feb 6, 2016 @ 2:15pm
Eventually, yes. You don't start with a truck that you own. You have to do jobs for it first to pay it. Also, you have to make sure you have enough money for fuel, damages and fines (at least fuel). If you've got all of that sorted (or a trainer/cheat engine), yeah. You can free roam.
roggek Feb 6, 2016 @ 2:15pm
No, you have to do quickjobs until you can afford your own truck for free roaming.

Well Yes and No , Ya need money to buy a truck for free driving . then your gonna need money for repairs and fuel . so here comes the reality with out money NO

Well, ok, thanks.

I feel like a free mode with everything unlocked right at the start, only one big map, no objectives and some options to disable fuel and things like that would be great.
I can't get comfy if I have to worry about shekels.

That would completely miss the point of the game.

This is a simulator, not an open world game.

I don't want to insult the type of game that you like or anything, you probably see me as a "casual", but it's just that I don't like playing like that.

I'm not saying they should add guns and pedestrians, I'm just saying that driving aimlessly into a big map without worrying about anything would be relaxing.
It's not like it should replace the normal game, just an option on the side.

You can unlock it very early, I'd say within the first hour of playing the game. Just do a few jobs and then take a loan out from the bank.

Then take the advice given and drive a truck in GTA V, which is an open world game.

This is a simulator, so of course you can't just drive around all over the place in a truck owned by someone else.

Just do the quick jobs until you have enough money to buy your truck, then you can do whatever you want.
Raggy!!!... Feb 6, 2016 @ 2:28pm

Mayby not but you miss the point, this is a simulator. SCS have mayby said they will implent in future that you can cruise around the map without working, but then they was refering to evrydy cars noi trucks. His game is in basic about working as a truckdriver so no there will be no free roaming like in other car games.

Well, that's the difference between a brainless game like GTAV and this, it's a simulator, I want the feeling of my driving wheel and stuff.
