Smoke
I have my settings turned all the way up and was wondering; am I missing something or is there suppose to be no smoke rolling from the stacks?

No smoke other than mod trucks

Wonder if they will add this at some point. I do love riding the jakebreak listening to the stacks rumble, just would like to be able to have smoke boil out giving the city a nasty black fog issue.

We might see it when they roll out DX11. Right now smoke makes are very large hit to your frames. Unless you have the GTX 970 or something like that.
New trucks in the US really don't smoke anymore. I mean, they technically still do, but the exhaust runs through a filter that traps the soot, and makes the exhaust colorless for the most part.

SCS is having a hard enough time licensing trucks. Letting them smoke would be portraying them in a bad light, and I doubt anyone would sign on.

IMHO, I would also like to see these rigs roll some coal.

Smoke is must have so they need to add this, they really should..

And not just for the player's truck, but for the ai trucks as well!

Maybe at least a little light greyish smoke...

That'd be cool. Kinda dissapointing that my car smokes more under WOT than these trucks.

Because there isn't ANY smoke coming from the trucks. It's just the tires right now.
This is all I got to say about rolling coal, boys:

Needs to be a part upgrade to alter it at an expense of the truck owner. Besides, most people who play these simulators are not completely ignorant to semi trucks. You dont look at a truck pulling a huge load smoking like a house fire and think something is wrong, you usually think damn thats some torque
