So i wanted some mods and no matter what 389 mod i pick the headlights at night does not light up the road.. But if you look at the front of the truck they are on...

Another thing i notice is the front fenders are not even on the truck...

The other mods i have which everything works on thoes are

Freightliner_Coronado_for_ATS

freightliner_FLB_1.1

Maybe im downloading the wrong ones but i tried like 4 downloads and they all the same..

under 5 hrs ingame and your messing with mods, why not try the game for awhile and wait till real modders actually have time to convert mods properly , not rushed out to see who is first ones that are majority of whats out there, and besides mod problems do not belong here , get in contact with the mod creator its not a ats issue.

I have more hours than that, Before i bought the game yesterday i was playing it on my cousins account sense release day. Have like 60 to 70% completed of the map.

Also have euro truck 2 and pretty much this game is the same except the map and the 2 american trucks so i know my way around the game pretty much.

Just wanted to see if anyone on this forum had the problem also.

i see other useless stuff posted here and no buddy usely complains lol..

Owell will ask the modder than.

if your having a problem with mods, why didnt you ask this question on the webside you got the mod from?

Ah, I see you discoverd the Peterbilt 389 Viper plus ATS 2.0 garbage version .
I too had that version and had same issue.

Here is what you do. Go to SCS forums
Find the ATS/Mods section there and look in Models subsection
Find the VIPER Peterbilt 389 beta and install that. Its' not 'version 2' It is the legit version.

Problem solved.

Any other versions you find are not 'legit'.

Be ware of truck mods uploaded to those sites. Always check the SCS forums
first as usually the legit modders post there . Some of them actually can handle English and
keep in touch with users.

Oh, and a pro tip.
If you have purchased the Viper-ATS 2.0 version in the game as owned
truck, sell all copies FIRST.
Then save and exit
Then you can safely convert to the proper mod with same truck.
Otherwise you risk hosing future saves.
Follow that rule whenever swapping out to new truck mods of same model or when removing one you no longer want in game.
Profit

Thank you very much uzi:) i installed that mod and the fenders and headlights are now working:)

see guys this is all i asked for is help for the right truck mod and forums is for other users to help others out:) I did not know scs forums had mods so pretty much my fault there. I always thought atsmod was the place to go.

But will now go to the scs forums when i want a mod instead of searching google lol :)
