"BUG" With the Steering-Wheel "Speedlink Drift OZ"

It Seems i found a kind of wierd bug. I just bought an "Speedlink Drift OZ" Steering Wheel becouse my old onw had broken down. i anstalled al the Drivers etc. as soon as i go ingame it says "Nes (Thing) Ditected want to use as mouse?" i choice "No" and then went to the options like in the "old" ETS. i chose "keyboard and Drift OZ" and after around 5 to 10 second the game crashes.. have tried all 4 versions of the 1.0s 64 bit version

Same here. Game crashes everytime i change my settings to Steering Wheel ...done this 10 times in a row and rebooted, reinstalled everything, then it worked - had some fun, closed the game for 2 hours now i cant even load my save file cause its broken... 14 hours of gameplay wasted ...PLS FIX!!!!!

I found ot , at east in the case of the Drift OZ , when you dont instal the "real" driver and just use the one Windows install the basic funktions are working without problems but as soon as i installed the Speedlink Driver everything breaks down

i also figured out this bug DOES accure in ETS2 with the same thing... so i think its something in the Engine itself (?) Please Investigate it SCS

I may have figured out what the problem is. Try to run ATS in 32 Bit version. it helped for me and worked just fine

I will try it with only the windows drivers. How do i start it in 32 Bit? ^^

you need to right click itin your steam libery then go to "Propertiers" (i think.. the last point in the list ^^) and then go to the "Betas" tab then you can change too the 32 Bit version

Playing with only the windows drivers installed works perfect :)) big thanks mate <3

No problem :3 again in the 32 Bit version you can use it with "all" the feouters of the Wheelsuch as vibration becouse you can leave the "real" driver installet. i will investigate it furter.. just for the records.. do you use windows 10 ?

My game crashed withe the steering wheel too. But after a reboot of my computer after installing the drivers, the game didnt crash anymore.

Yes i'm using Win10 64 Bit System. Btw, do you have any good mod recommendations? Only got the more XP mod for parking ^^

No i didnt have ats modded yet.
and.. it seems the bug accure "only" on windows 10 systems... i need more data so plesse everyone who has steering wheels problems pleas post your windows OS in this Thread.

How do you uninstall the original driver? I can't seem to find it in the Device Manager

Same problem here.. using original drivers from speedlink + windows10. It worked oke with the original windows10 drivers.

I'm having exactly the same problem with this wheel in ETS 2 64bit version. But only on my new Win 10 computer. On my old Win 7 machine it worked fine.

Unfortunately that's without Force Feedback etc. ...
