Are the drive times realistic?

Looking for pre-purchase info. If you take a drive from, say, Las Vegas to Los Angeles, is the drive time realistic? For me, it's more about the scenery and enjoying the drive rather than the game so I want the drives to be realistic with real scenery all along the way.

That is a bit of an exaggeration, but no the drive times are not realistic. I think the drive from

I have read somewhere that it is speculated to be around 1:35 scale, which is smaller than Euro Truck. The whole game is much smaller at the moment with only 2 states, but there is much more coming. LA to Vagas takes about 15-20 minutes.

Plenty of scenery to enjoy along the way though. It is much more detailed than Euro Truck if you have played that. Plus the actual driving is very enjoyable. The truck actually feels heavy and drives like you would expect one to drive in real life (not that I have driven one myself).

LA to Las vegas takes 20-35 minutes IRL, following the speed limits (and depending on traffic).

I'm using a heavy traffic mod, so times can increase quite a bit :)

At 80km/h we will do a 1km in a 1 second.
Definetivetly the map is too small scale.

Watch out for the pop-ups. The file is fine, but these sites they decide to host on are questionable at best. ETS2 was the same thing.....

50/50 chance the mod will still work after an update, but a mod like this can be easily disabled until updated. Shouldn't affect any savegames.
