There is a front-bar accessory for the higher-grade trucks, but nothing that can be attached to it.
Oh and you can put a vanity/custom license plate in your dash window :P
You have to be a certain level for them to unlock, if you click on the spot it will tell you what level they unlock at. It was the same way in ETS2.
As I just noted I cheated a bit, I am effectively level 30 at the moment, they don't exist at all as far as I can tell. They don't even show up as mounting choices let alone shown as level-restricted.
Personally it's not a big deal for me. The stock horns, while they are not great, will work for now until air horns and beacons are added. Plus whenever I don't have beacons I normally use my hazard lights.
Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug. I admit for me the nifty accessories were always a fun part to the game, though admittedly I usually ended up using mods for most of them anyways, lol.
Here's to hoping ATS ends up with a more functional modding site somewhere if not workshop integration, finding mods for ETS2 was always a pain.
Check the mod sites, there are several options up already for putting extra bling on the vanilla trucks.
Now I just need to wait for my new G27 powercord to get here, lol, playing with a keyboard is meh.
http://atsmods.lt/ :)
Doh, unfortunately that site is the very definition of what I didn't want to see for ATS mods. Yet another WP site just doing post to post releases, lol. Perhaps I should get off my lazy behind and make a generic modifications site for ATS if I can find time.
Thanks though none the less :P
Hey, they work. I know how to dodge popups, and I'm not picky :) to each his own, though! I love my mods, and have almost 0 patience.
I've meant to make a curse-like site for it for a long time, something that lets you specify exact version compatibility, etc.
Considering the general engine/map modeling changed pretty dramatically (if you haven't noticed cities are actually kinda at least slightly more city sized to an extent now), it wouldn't likely have been possible.
And even if they had, how exactly would it work? It undoubtedly would have cost the same at minimum, and at most you'd have to go through some kind of cross-sea shipping thing which for the most part would be obscenely implausible.
Whoa, wait...... by train?! tunnel??!!
Apparently they had a moment to think about what they said and deleted it. Good thing you quoted it for preservation because I would have hated to miss it :P
