Why can't you drive down the Las Vegas strip?
Wondering why you can't you drive down the Las Vegas strip? It's there but blocked off on each end with yellow Xs.... ?

Because they don't model the actual cities, usually just the outskirts (with the main parts of the city as background). Its essentially to give the illusion.

Modelling while cities would be cost prohibative and not really enhance the main portions of the gameplay (which is trucking). Of course I would love it if they models more of the inner cities (like the Las Vegas Strip), I can understand why they don't, they have finite resources so they put those to the best use.

Vegas is pretty iconic though and I was under the impression they had done a lot of work on major cities so that they are not just little grids with every road blocked off.

AFAIK Strip is off limits for the trucks IRL
