How Do I Turn Traffic Up?

how do i go about turning traffic up more so theres more traffic i cant find the option to do so in settings unless i missed it but please feel free to let me know how thanks.

Why turn it UP? I was waiting to make a left turn on a 2-lane divided highway, and traffic literally never stopped spawning. I had to just drive into the middle of the road, and cars magically stopped instantly as I cut them off.
