Report a translation problem
I don't think this is a bug, since you are not supposed to be able to see the exterior, when using the interior camera .. the way the Lights and trucks are modeled, they have to be above the roof a good distance when in interior view, or they would be flashing inside the cab. The light-sources are spheres, not disks or hemi-spheres.
If people have been reporting it for a year, and SCS does not confirm it is a bug they are looking at, or on the list of "to do" then .. well .. it isn't a bug.

This tells me NOTHING except that the Bug Report was accepted .. it is not Confirmation that it IS a Bug that is being "corrected".
It does not mean it has been fixed yet because it is still being reported.
