Go to "C:\Users\*your username*\Documents\American Truck Simulator" after a crash.
Open "game.log.txt" (NOT game.crash.txt), in Notepad or other text editor.
Copy it all, then post it to pastebin.com (split if too big)
Post the link to that page here.
If pastebin is not available in your country you can use rentry.co and post that page link here.
On a Mac the ETS2 folder is in your Library and there in the Application Support. On Linux the ETS2 folder is in the .local and there in the share.
If you are not concerned with saving a Profile, and are willing to do another re-install, there is an order of operations that you should follow;
1. If you use mods, go to EACH Mod Page on the Workshop, and mark them as Favorite, and then Unsubscribe from it.
2. In your Steam Library, right-click the game, then click Uninstall .. let it do its thing.
3. Once complete, Close the Steam Client app, completely.
4. On your PC:
-A. navigate to your Documents folder, and DELETE the entire American Truck Simulator folder.
-B. navigate to your Steam installation folder, then to Steam Apps, and then Common. Delete the American Truck Simulator FOLDER.
-C. also in your Steam installation folder, navigate to Workshop, then Content, then "270880" .. open the 270880 folder, and delete the contents of this folder.
5. Close Windows Explorer, and restart your computer.
6. log back in to Steam, and reinstall ATS.
This is a new, CLEAN install. If you have not done all of these steps on previous reinstalls, you had old files left over that could affect your new install.
