I do like to drive at night but if everything too dark not see anything but light on road, it's just not fun.
Personally I like the new ambient lighting and everything. I also tried the new opportunities provided by the automatic headlights and automatic high beam game options. After a while, however, I deselected them: first of all you have to turn on the headlights and/or the high beams anyway and only after the game will choose whether to switch from one to the other and the difference is only really noticeable if you are traveling with or without the high beams in certain areas and in some corners I would have preferred if they didn't keep turning on and off. I am happy with the old "manual" vehicle light management system but with the new ambient lighting.
In any case, I definitely like this new 1.49 update in every way.
Furthermore, the repair system is "more realistic" and allows you to spend more money... which I have more than I need... but only in the game... if I could have it in reality I certainly wouldn't have any complaints.
You can not please everyone.
And if the screen looks like it would have a white tint on it......i would check the brightness in the game....especially if you raised it in the past to make the nights less darker (aka never witnessed the real live after sunset) ;)
Edit: To be clear, that was before this update. Not sure how tunnels are in this update, since I didn't rode any yet.
Well, at least they added something to make all these people happy at least half of the time: during Full Moon, the people complaining about darkness; during New Moon, the people complaining about brightness.
