Thinking about getting a logitech g923 for this game and maybe other driving games
Anyone have one? Is it worth it?

Buy a G920 if you can. That's what I use and they are cheaper than a G923.

Depends on if you intend ever getting an Xbox or PS because the G920 is for PC and XBox and the G923 is for PC and PS.

However, if you check back on previous discussions in the forum about steering wheels which there are a huge amount of them you may be able to make a more informed choice.

Thrustmaster is also has good steering wheel for this and other driving games.

it also depends on budget on the wheel you get. Thrustmaster was way out of my budget , so i got a g920

Should the entry Level ffb wheels not cost around the same for both of them?

At least the last time i checked logitech & thrustnmaster where in the same price Range here.

Yeah don't worry about the G923.. just get the G920. Exactly the same thing for cheaper and the wheel is decent for all forms of Vehicle Game Operations.

Have it, it is nice.
Brake is a bit hard, but still ok to use.

using it with the logitech shifter because manual shifting rules/is fun.
It is not even more expensive than the older version 920.

Sure it may have a couple of improvements, but for all honesty, how different are they? One has "True Force" which all forms of Force Feedback comes a lot from the implementation within a Game, it's not always to do with the piece of Hardware itself, and nothing against SCS, but their FFB has always seemed weak to me, or I simply just don't know how to config it properly in their Games.

And has Dual Clutch, which excuse my ignorance on Mechanical things, in the Real World I can understand the benefits, but let's be honest... it's software covered in plastic which gets coded in Games. How exactly does a Dual Clutch improve a Game when a Game can simply code any Gaming Clutch to perform like a Dual Clutch?

Honestly curious on the answers as I've slowly been losing my faith in Logitech products. Buying something from them every 5-10 years is fine, but I could never justify purchasing something with the smallest amount of upgrades from something I already own.

A lot of how strong the ffb can max out has to do with.... how much force your wheel (Motor) can push out.

A wheel with 2nm will always be weaker then ones with 5nm ,8nm or more.
