oversized trailer parking

Why isnt there a oversized parking area just for oversized trailers in rest area or truck stops???

Oversized loads are one thing, but I can't even seem to find consistent parking at rest stops for normal sized loads. Lots of times I've pulled in, had everything nice and straight, not too far forward and not having my ass hanging out where it can get clipped... shut my truck down, and immediately have to start it back up again to go find a new spot because sleep won't activate. Makes me wish there was a toggle or something that would highlight sleeping zones the same way a delivery spot is highlighted.

To be honest I have not yet used rest area, I am assuming because I am only Level 7 at the moment, my route distances aren't that long yet. Generally they are all in the neighbourhood of 200-250 miles.

Also, I still don't have any Dealerships available to me except the original one, I too assume that this is because I don't visit Service Centres and they are in there???

I like the game but I'll be giving MP more time, however that aspect also has a serious flaw in my opinion, when playing MP you don't see any other traffic but players, so no more regular cars etc... really takes away from immersion, so perhaps I will play single player more because I do enjoy it a lot.

Ever since I leveled up to be able to buy the 100 Anniversary W900 (maxed out with the best engine and transmission and everything else), I really enjoy hauling oversized loads. 90% of my ATS driving is heavy haul/oversized loads. Like many of you mentioned in this thread, parking is a royal pain in the backside. SCS should allow for parking areas for oversized loads. In ATS we cant even sleep on ramps. SCS should allow for ramp parking if you have a sleeper. There is another option too, but that would take a huge reworking of the game, and that is change the scale of the map. This would allow for bigger rest stops and truck stop parking lots, which would give more room for trucks with oversized loads.

I would say SCS has it pretty close to real life. No one cares about truck parking other than truckers. Drop your trailer and park the truck.
