GPS not calculating route.

Hello.

I am in Taxas trying to get another job started, but when I go to set the GPS, it gets stuck in "Calculating Route". No matter the job I take this happens.

Any suggestions?

A screenshot might have helped us in offering advice, but just drive off the current prefab or out of the current area and see if the GPS gets over itself. There are some places in the game where it 'gets lost' because there is some information missing in the map definition.

Yes, information missing

A while ago I took a triple trailer of lumber over 800mls to a destination that had no drop off icon, I looked everywhere but to no avail so I had to abort the load

Found that on some trips the GPS actually directs to a different entrance to warehouse and the actual delivery icon was correct building opposite entrance.

If you are not sure where the end icon is:
Park your truck (in a safe place)
Go into fly mode to look around (Dev Console must be enabled)
Once you have located the icon, hit the "1" key and you will be back in your cab
Drive on in.

I've never arrived at the destination to find no red flag for the delivery point (at least, not if I remembered to pick up the cargo) but there was a new feature introduced in v1.46 that means that you may get to a road work drop and find the road works aren't there (as per this bug report on the official forums[forum.scssoft.com])

As IRL, don't rely entirely on the GPS. Use your brain and the map provided and you'll find where to go. Just saying. I see these small "bugs" as a feature because it is the same thing IRL 😊. You know the company from the contract so just look at the map and go there, yes?

If you're on another job site or at a truck stop, try driving towards the exit to the road and it should pop up with a route.
