Or you could just buy them on sale.
$12 USD for a state(except Texas which is ETS2 pricing) a couple times a year is not expensive at all.
Just my opinion as you are entitled to yours. Steam sales do make pricing a little better. Even Texas went on sale during the Spring Sale. Not much but 10% is 10%.
Why pay for a title every single year...cough....EA NHL, NFL, FIFA, MLB....cough when it is the same game year in and year out with one little, extremely niche feature that most people probably will never even use and charge $60 USD for the game.
The above is absolutely pathetic. Oh and then lets charge people to access online play too. Even more absurdity!
SCS map expansions are extremely cheap compared to the crap that AAA game studios are doing.
Is that what you think of SCS? You'd happily take a pay cut, or lose your job? Do you seriously expect them to work for less or nothing?
Do a simple cost/benefit analysis of DLC taking cost, time spent playing, enjoyment gained etc, and compare it to going to the cinema or the pub for the same amount of time. DLC is by far the cheapest option and gives the best c/b ratio.
Or you could just be one of the usual trolls we repeatedly get here.
Given how much time goes into making a state, the price is entirely reasonable for a state, and not many people are likely to buy what is probably going to be 50 states.
So normal price? Likely worth buying.
Dont like the normal price? Wait for another major sale.
If I had one negative comment it would be the DLC Releases are to far apart.
But if you still want to complain about spending $20 for a DLC, I suggest learn to develop your own maps and share them for cheap/free with others. Lets's see how long it takes you.
