It is pointless because there is absolutely nothing to spend the money on.
Just my 2 cents. You don't have to like it.
did you discover all the hire places? You get more selection the more you activate
No it won't add more drivers, but you definitively won't be able to hire them all so quickly.
Next week they will want to have hands added to move with the steering wheel, the week after will be how to get rid of the birds, after that they will want 24/7 sunlight, after that they will want their character to be able to walk around to eat, drink, maintain their visibly damaged trucks and go to the washroom.
I kind of wish the game deducted taxes on our buildings each year, bi-annually, month, bi-weekly, weekly, which ever term they preferred, according to their size. That would force me to hire enough drivers to keep economies a little more in balance. In Canada the large garages would cost around $22,000 / year. The small garages would cost around $18,000, just spit balling numbers. IRL taxes SUCK but in this game they would make sense. I do not bring home this kind of money IRL so I do not need help parting with it.
I know none of the developers will see this, this is just me thinking out loud.
You keep saying the word "we" a lot. I don't ever use drivers. Don't need them at all.
And SCS should fix what? The hired driver limit? That's working exactly as intended. Use a mod if you need more drivers that bad.
More drivers is POINTLESS. What do you do with all that cash flowing in every week?

$10 million a week?
ETS2 has even more cash flow.

€20-plus million a week?
The game isn't a business simulator, it's a truck driving game for players aged 3 and upwards of all skill levels. It is not and never will be a hard-core simulation game.
SCS are aware that a vast number of drivers WILL slow down players PC's, this has been discussed many times before on here, they have to try and keep it manageable for lower-end computers, not everyone has the latest gaming PC.
See the mod I posted before? I'm currently on level 150 on my main profile, I have all garages but only one employee each. I'm already thinking I'm making money faster than I should - about 3 deliveries I do myself, plus the income from employees, I have enough for purchasing another 5-slot garage, hire another employee and buy him a fully pimped truck.
Personally I'd prefer if making money was harder than adding more drivers. If you hire all available drivers (even if they don't fill all garages) it already kills the progressing dificulty.
Also, sure, let's train the community managers to be devs instead, will maybe take about 2 years to do and then it will take time to get this implemented because you can not just use pictures of people on the internet without their consent. You haven't thought your rant through now, have you?
And what do you want to do with more money that you can not spend at all? Have more of it so that your virtual money counter gets higher faster? Wow. Anything you will do with that? No? Cool.
Use a mod. Easy solution.
