How to turn off using my wheel as a mouse

So I got a little too excited when I first plugged in my wheel. When I loaded the game up, it asked me about using the new device as a mouse and I stupidly said yes not taking time to actually read it. Since then, whenever I have my wheel plugged in, the mouse just immediately pulls down to the bottom. I can unplug the wheel and then everything is fine, but I've gone as far as completely uninstalling the game to try and reset this dumb choice I made but I have not found a way to do it as whenever I plug in the wheel, the mouse pulls down. Any option for the wheel is unavailable to change when it is unplugged. I'm assuming there must be a way to reset this?

Load the game. On the launchpad screen you click Options. Now click Controls. Scroll down to Alternate Mouse Cursor Controller. Click on Reset.
