(Solved, bugged discovery triggers) How to discover Texarkana?

So, I discovered the last city for Oklahoma which for me was Idabel and I saw that texas has a new city, so I get a new load that the route goes by here. But according to this I am not close at all to it for it to even count at least the name of the city.
Running Vanilla latest version, no mods.

Is there actually a specific spot? After this I drove on all the roads that were grey and still no discovery.

If there was I don't remember where it is. I would say drive every road there and maybe you will find it. Sorry.

I had the same issue. Never got a "Texarkana Discovered" notice while driving around, but after doing a delivery to it it was suddenly filled in yellow.

And this is after driving up and down that highway and driving around the whole city. I was starting to wonder if this isn't Texarkana and that it was just being implemented into the game. They kind of need to adjust the names alignment on the map Lol.

I would argue that it isn't a bug. Texarkana straddles the border and will no doubt get more city area when Arkansas lands some time in the next half decade. In my experience the guaranteed way to get the city discovery is to deliver a load to a depot in that city, and then the city discovery will pop, even if that depot isn't in the city centre.

Ehh, too me the highway entering the city should kind of count considering that is how I approached the city and entered it. My first time driving there pretty much. It seems like either the depot/or the place where I began driving in the second screenshot titled "bruh" is where it'll count it. For those that are struggling with this as well.

Same problem driving in on I-30 from the north, no discovery. Then I drove in on 59 from the south, and got the discovery.

Yes it is, the city should unlock as soon as you get near it, like all the other cities.

Whilst some cities pop as you drive through them on the interstate others require you to visit a specific area of the city. If you are sure enough that it is a bug then raise a report on the official forums and perhaps SCS will fix it.
