USB Turnsignal
Would anyone know of where I could possibly pick up something to handle turn signals? I enjoy playing ATS as real to life as possible, which includes following the rules of the road. Would anyone know where I could find such a thing?

Thanks in advance!

If you want it to auto-cancel based on steering wheel, nope. Ain't got a clue, for a reasonable price.

It will auto cancel appropriately within the game. Mostly just looking for the experience. I found another possible option which is significantly cheaper I am looking into.

If you're handy, you can make one with a four way joystick and a usb joystick encoder board in a project box.

This video uses the same joystick lever I do (though they're using a 3d printed enclosure), but it should give you the basics for what you need to diy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04JuIH6fyoU

That one on Amazon is a hunk of junk if you read the reviews. Not even close to being recommended.

I know where there is one that you can buy but I will not advertise for him in any way whatsoever after he burned my brother which led to a charge dispute being filed.

I posted my original button box on the scs forums, and updated the post after I redid it. It's powered by 2 usb joystick encoder boards and 1 usb gamepad encoder board (for the thumbstick used for mirror controls). This is the link to the post on the scs forums with my current button boxes when I last updated them about a year ago: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=1696927#p1696927

Good luck with whatever you decide to go with!

I have been using this for close to a year and I am glad I got it. I used 2 way tape to connect it to my left shifter paddle on my TM T500 RS and use the paddle to select high beams. It does make the space between the signal and the wheel more restrictive but no issues in ATS.

Kambien, the thing I like about the usb encoder boards is that they don't require any programming (aside from some tweaking for certain settings within the controls.sii file), so they're very plug and play, and the boards I've bought came with the wires, so I just had to strip the ends and attach them to the button/switch terminals and plug it into the board (no soldering was even required, though I did use some hot glue on the nuts that support the mirror control thumbstick lol.) This really allows you to build out the button box that would work best for your own personal preferences in terms of the buttons used and layout. It can be a really fun project, and I honestly still sit and stare at my setup for a couple of minutes after each session when I take my VR headset off. Gives a real sense of pride to know I made it myself. :)

@HighPlains Drifter Thanks so much! :)
