I installed it on a old computer that is from back in the days of windows vista and it runs better then before with the 10, but, if your not comfortable with working on computers and your computer is old/not compatible, install win10

Even so, most people will use Windows 10 over 11. Currently over 70% of PC users are still using Windows 10 compared to only 23% PC users on Windows 11.

Windows 10 still dominates though. Also older PCs like the OP has wont be able to use 11 because of its TPM 2.0 requirement. There are workarounds but its not easy for the average user. I would go with 10 because its way more stable than 11.
Also if you upgrade to a newer OS always do a clean install
