How to raise the back of a trailer?
I just got this game and am having an issue with trailers. I have been trying to google for 2 days now and can’t seem to find anything regarding this issue.

My problem is when I accept some jobs the trailer will be an inch off the ground at the rear axles. There is nothing in the keybindings about how to raise the rear of a trailer. I also can’t find anything on google. I was forced to drive from Peonix AZ to LA with the trailer almost throwing sparks the whole way.

Any advice on how to raise the rear of a trailer would be awesome.

Just wondering: Are you using any mods?

I am not. Not yet anyways lol. Gonna get a solid understanding of the base game before I jump into mods

Some trailers are very low to the ground. Perhaps if you took a screenshot and shared it here we could be more helpful?

That is a frac trailer. That is how low they are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw_B27pLjfE
Ingame there is only like 3 places you kinda need to do a bit more maneuvering but otherwise its normal. Real life I don't want to know.

Ok I did not know that was a thing. Never seen one before. But in-game it has what looks like pistons at the front of the trailer. They look like it should slide, but if it doesn't then so be it LOL!!!

These trailers are indeed hoisted using hydraulics in the real world. However since no truck in the game has 'wet kits' they went a different route.

These trailers are always empty when transported also.

Oh ok then. It is interesting to me. Are they common IRL?
thanks so much everyone. It was really getting to me. lol.

You will see them at fracking sites mostly.

I change semi tires. I've only changed tires on a frac tank twice. I've got to watch drivers load them up a few times. Usually a winch will yank it up. Also in-game, I believe they have legs to keep them up in the air so you can back under them. That's a bit creative on the developers part. No such thing happens in real life unfortunately.

Yea I used to change tractor trailer tires and heavy equipment in the past thats why I was confused lol.

I actually saw a BUNCH of frack tank trailers not too long ago. I don't know what they were being used for, but they were getting filled up with water from a nearby hydrant. There must of been about 20-25 trailers there at the time. This was about 2 months ago mind you. When I went by the same area earlier in my day (at the time of posting this), they were gone. There's also no fracking sites here in case anyone wonders. However, I'm wondering if the recent connector project I read about had something to do with it since the I-20, 287, and I-820 connector down here is getting some extensions.
