That being said, these trucks are some of the oldest models in the game: Kenworth T680 and W900 (though I don't know if the recent updates added in some of the new cabin physics), Peterbilt 579 and 379, Volvo VNL 2014. Those in particular need some much needed care IMO, but I'm not sure if SCS will update those old models. Seems like they may, considering the W900 did get some new stuff recently, so there's a chance.
For example only 3 trucks in the game currently has cabin suspension
In terms of performance most of the trucks are just about equal with 5 outliers.
The Kentworth W900 and Peterbilt 300 series have the most powerful engines by 25hp. The Kentworth W900 has a issue with low ground clearance, so if your doing off roading - bumpy dirt roads go slow with some of the lower bumper options.
The Western star 57X does not have the 18 speed transmission but a bunch of 12 speeds which can affect heavy hauling (though not required) and is the only truck without a retarder.
The International LT Max HP engine is 565 but it does have an 18 speed.
The Mack Anthem is the lowest max HP at 505 but it does have an 18 speed.
Everything else has a 600 or 605hp max engine and 18 speed transmissions with retarders.
This is ONLY based on pure performance of a truck for heavy hauling without caring about fuel consumption.
