Issue on Steam Deck

Greetings,
I have issue with game on Steam Deck. When I'm creating my profile during first start of the game after I type in my name or company name and switching off virtual keyboard the game doesn't answer to any buttons on Deck and I can't start it.
I tried seaching on forum, but didn't find an answer.

yea this seems to come from decks latest update

yep cant type anything.. spent all the monies on the game to get it on my steam deck to play. wife not happy.

so many DLC. sucks! great biz model. Lets release a game then issue 50 DLC for every state.

I paid good money for this so I would have something to do on my steam deck and I cant even type anything. no buttons work.

This happens to me a lot in a lot of games actually. The only way I've found to get around it is sperg buttons just press them all fast and the keyboard magically closes. I have no clue why it gets hung up nothing specific replicates it and it's totally random

new to steam/steam deck ATS

The game will boot up fine, but while on the profile creation screen, after typing in my company name i cant move my cursor or select a different field. Using a steam deck, ive checked that both game and system updates are current, and turned my system off / on and still have the same problem. Any advice/input is appreciated!

I can't get a keyboard to even pop up when I'm prompted to enter my company name.
(Steam deck) so I havn't even gotten to play this yet. Wanted to drive around my great loan star state and see how accurate the roads where. :p

+1 here, wish I'd seen this before linking my WOT to my game. Issue seems to effect ETS2 as well, so fingers crossed devs find fix soon.

I figured out the keyboard by myself! Press the steam button and x at the same time :) still haven't got past the profile creation screen yet. I think I'm gonna Uninstaller and reinstall and I'll update yall.

It was a big 'ol let down when I hit this wall. I wonder what other "verified" deck games don function smoothly.

same here. Used to work fine, tried picking up the game again recently and it completely soft locks when using the keyboard.

yeah man, this "verified" cannot be trusted 100% , i have morrowind (not verified and very old game) work without major issue
