Trucks honking at me
So sometimes when I am driving in a terminal or truck stop all the trucks honk incessantly at me in a frantic fashion. Is this because I am fatigued? I have the fatigue turned off now but it still happens at times.

I've wondered that myself. I like to think they like my paint job and giving me a honk. Prolly just a bug.

No. It's just the AI being in a hurry all the time.
Don't worry about it.

Just like in real life, dude.

Just had this happen earlier to me at a weigh station. I was behind a stopped AI truck, waiting my turn at the scale, and the guy behind me was honking. Like lol, what do you want me to do man? I'm trapped between two AIs, one's angry at the other and taking it out on me.

No, it's just the SCS Devs trying to be cute/funny.. or not understanding American culture/laws .. I guarantee, if you start honking your horn at a weight station, your butt is getting pulled aside for a thorough inspection, and you'll sit there until they find something, or get bored of making you wait.

I can't really tell if it's meant to be an alarm on the truck being triggered or it's a bug of some sort but it's been in the game for a while. It only seems to happen as you get close to the parked trucks, which makes me believe it's an alarm of some sort but then the trucks start wobbling slightly too as if suddenly effected by some physics, which makes me think it's a bug. :\

The Collision Boxes of the trucks are pretty tight, so if you are setting off the actual car alarms, and seeing them move, then you probably hit them .. don't get so close.

I'm not hitting them. It happens as I'm passing them.

Edit: perhaps the collision boxes don't match where the parked trucks are? But I don't think it's that because my own truck doesn't register a hit of any kind.

This is a better explanation of what is happening! Its not in traffic. Just parked trucks.

I only notice any honking when I am blocking traffic. Like at a gas station that I entered the wrong way

Traffic can also honk if you are running your high beams.
