"VR is not supported"

I updated the game to 1.48, choosing the oculus-openvr 1.48 beta. Starting it with the -openvr switch , but it tells me VR is not supported. What is going on? I just had it running in VR in 1.48....? VR should work with the 1.48 VR beta right? (OpenVR HP Reverb G2)

They did something odd with VR I hope they fix it with the new DLC patch.

There are no they, there is only one employe that work on the vr, after his regular work. This is no official support for vr.

Have played with VR, but with Meta Quest 2 and the -oculus switch.

Well they are abusing the Hell out of that VR guy and should give his ass a raise because VR is awesome with this game. It's 99% why I play this, the feeling of being in that BIG rig is amazing.

My wish list is they give it more support and hope they put more time to it. TrackIR is my backup when the new updates roll out. ;)

not sure what is going on but my game still is fine, reverb g2 but i am also running 4070ti with the lastest drivers so you may have to update your drivers ?

I absolutely 100% this, I love this game in VR, i've maybe played 4-5 hours of this game normally, but have played according to steam over 300 hrs combined in both of these games in VR and its one of the reasons that got me to buy all the DLC i've bought, its just one of my favourite games to play now and I never thought I would be into truck driving until i gave it a go for the hell of it when I saw it was one of the games I owned that I could try it with my VR headset when i got one. So if any of the devs ever read this especially the guy that puts out the VR builds, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou thankyou thankyou. Is a bummer when you gotta wait and the DLC is just sittin there in yer library waitin for the VR update but I'm like a minority of a monitory of players so I just gotta wait and hopes its soon,

to OP; VR was working fine for me with SteamVR and a Quest 2 on the 1.48 VR build

It's just Steam that tells you it's "not supported" (Because it officially isn't).
Just click ok. I works fine - as usual.

Yeah if they remove VR I'm done with this series. Kind of regretting buying all the DLC now if they do remove it.
