new w900 is poor
take it to have no adblue tank and the better looking exhaust that point off to the side in stead of those stretched out ones i will need to use and old version of the game as these game developers seem to update games to make them worse instead of better.

I'm having a hard time understanding what your saying. If your native language is not English post in your native language then put the English translation (either yourself or a 3rd party translation service such as "google translate") below what you typed in your native language.
If English is your native language English, American, Austrian or New Zealand or any other country that i am not aware of that has the primary language of English (probably india) your lack of punctuation ". ," and poor word choices make it hard to understand what your talking about.

All vehicles in game require diesel exhaust fluid or "Addblue". This has been a requirement on all new commercial grade diesel vehicles since 2010. All vehicles ingame including the game version of the W900 are production models after 2010 thus it has a DEF tank which in gameplay terms means nothing since you refill it at every fuel station. If you asking for smoke coming out of the exhaust that wont happen since most companies do not want that kind of possible press.

As for the exhaust pipes what kind of "side" ones are you talking about. Do you mean the ones that go under the truck? or shorter ones? I'm kinda lost. The ingame kentworth only comes with 3 (use to be 2) exhaust stacks, one that has no shielding but a bit of a turn at the top while the others have shielding but only go up then back. Your gona need to explain more since your not making sense and it could mean a lot of things.

The last thing is are you getting confused with the International 9900 or the peterbuilt 389 or are you talking about mods which can not be supported by the developers as they are 3rd party additions to the game. It is up to you and the mod makers to keep the mods up to date OR remove them to prevent bugs or game crashes.

Attempted translation:
I took my updated W900 to the shop to try and remove the DEF tank and change the exhausts to point outwards to either side, but these options aren't available. I guess I'll need to use an older version of the game since these game developers seem to be updating their game to make them worse instead of better.

Not certain if that's correct or not, but like Cop Unit 12 said, all trucks in the game have DEF tanks (and have always had them; the updated W900's is just more noticeable if you don't have the all-chrome version), and the only thing that's changed with the exhausts was the addition of the "Kenworth 100" variant of the shielded one. The other two used to be the only ones there, excluding any modded parts of course.

I don't know what's going on here but I'd guess perhaps a W900 part pack you used to use is outdated and no longer works, so you can't use the modded parts you wanted to? If that's the case, like Cop said it is up to the modders to keep their mods up to date since SCS is NOT responsible for them.

yeah i know about the adblue tank being needed just liked it better when less visible, as for the exhaust was meaning that on the new model the plain stacks still point off to the side at the tip but the others still now just go straight back. was wondering if there was a way to have the older models heat shield exhaust or not.

Wouldn't it just have been easier, to add the new truck, instead of altering the older one?

Short answer, no as it's the same truck. They just fixed all the incorrect measurements and stuff.

Which means they changed the truck. Anyhow, i signed up for that forum everyone says to go to where "developers listen". First day posting, and after one post giving them a piece of my mind, the last day. They got the message at least from me. They have to stop screwing up our games.

Speak for yourself. My game isn't screwed up.

Why is everyone complaining? It's the same truck with an extra sleeper and chassis option added. Literally nothing changed. Just add-ons.

My game is modded, and I do have a CAT C15 chipped tuned by Kriechbaum in my W900. Still works just fine. Just got in the game, added the new options to try it out and everything is fine. The truck is a beast.

1) They didn't get your message because you couldn't help yourself with the profanity.
2) For most users this was a requested update to fix the truck model.

They deserved every piece of profanity, and then some. And i'm glad they got it. "Most users" . Would that include a bunch of hipsters who dont work, spending time on their forums all day, while those of us who have no clue what they're doing, have no say?

Not a very good way of doing business, is it.

you do realize its modeled the way it is in real life and the way scs is legally obligated to. they cant change it or risk losing the license

Dude it's been 7 years. Do you think it may be time leave our game alone atp,and set sail for a new game? Every update, bar none, there's an issue. And this just another one. Create a new game, get their licensing, and leave our game be.

The point is, they didn't get it. I saw it and disapproved the post.

This game like many others is not simply left alone once published. I'd expect this game (and ETS2) to keep getting regular updates for the next decade. If you don't like your game getting updated, play one with a different business model.

No one's forcing you to update your copy of the game, just set it to an older version and let the rest of us have our updates.

Congrats on your ad hominem. Just as an advice: Using ad hominem arguments is not making your position better but instead much, much worse because it shows that you can not support your position enough and thus feel the need to attack others. It also is not allowing for any constructive debate afterwards. Not only that but others are way less inclined to discuss with you and whatever you might have brought up than if you had stated it without any of the profanities.

And what percentage of these issues is actually caused by the game itself? Pretty much not a single one. Nearly all the problems people report here are caused by themself be it outdated mods, hardware, drivers or simply their settings being too high for their hardware. Add the usual thing of Steam botching updates and you can, if you don't actually check, get the impression that the game is unstable. Which it isn't. If you play vanilla, verify your files after updates, keep your drivers updated and have the graphic settings to what your hardware can actually pull then you will have zero problems. Not saying there aren't bugs. But game crashes are in nearly all cases not caused by the game. The last time ATS crashed on me was this:

Almost 3 years ago and certainly not noticable if you aren't reading the game.log after every session (which I do).

As for staying on an older version, I already told you how to yesterday but you apparently insist on not listening to that. Seriously, that beta version will stay there for probably 2 years.
