This update not only adds the new "Anniversary Edition" W900 but also remodels the existing W900. You've got a mod, or more than one, that attempts to alter or use W900 parts and fails because things have been changed.

I was afraid of that. The truck is heavily modded, interior, tires, engine, transmission. Funny, none of the mods are showing incompatible in the mod manager. Dang, i had almost 2 million miles on that truck, I'm going to miss it.
Do you recommend removing all the existing truck related mods and trying again?
Will this affect any W900's I bought for my company drivers ?
Thanks for your assistance

If any of your drivers have modded trucks, yes, it will effect them. Usually better to keep them vanilla. I learned that one. There are commands to remove missing accessories (although I do not know if that applies here) in the console commands and that has helped me in the past as well.

Unfortunately, you can not use the red/green indicator in the Mod Manager to know whether a mod will work or not. If a mod author includes a line in the manifest to indicate that the mod is intended for the game version you're using, then you get green light and if the version doesn't match you get red. However, if they do not include this version information, then you also get green as the game assumes the mod is compatible.

In no way does the game actually know if the mod will work or be compatible in conjunction with other mods.

Are skin mods going to be an issue?

Don't give up on the truck yet. Check for updates to your mods and be patient as it may take a few days for the author(s) to get things updated.

Does the profile load to the main garage screen (where you have Truck Manager, Garage Manager, etc) or does it crash before that? If you can get into your profile, you can buy yourself a temporary truck to drive and either wait for the mod updates or reconfigure all the trucks with stock parts

May be useful to make a copy of your profile and save it in another location in case experimentation breaks something

after this update the game crashed and the saves were damaged. create a level 0 driver profile.

Ok, I'm back up and running. The mod I had to remove was "Interior/exterior reworks pack", one I had been using and enjoying for years, but all good things must come to an end. I't hadn't been updated for awhile. I did like the cb radio that came with it. I haven't sold my other W900, just parked it in an empty garage for now. To be honest, my first impressions of this new truck are "meh". No more 300 gallon tanks, the largest option is 260. But I'll see how things go. For now I'm just happy to be back on the road.
Thanks everyone who replied and keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down...

The truck's UVmapping is completely different. It won't cause any issues beyond the skins not looking right though.
I lost a lot of progress after update. Was Lvl 28 before, now back to Lvl 3!
Also had a couple of W900's in my fleet

Oh please don't tell me that. Oh well, another two week hiatus before i even put this game on. Did they "really" need this? And on my favorite truck. Whatever.

It also crashes with vanilla version. Slightly frustrating when just having started out.

guessing as the update is not optimized as is the Texas dlc as a whole:steamsad:
