Reddit's predictions
Someone who claimed to be a developer from SCS said something about the future states and it sounded like at the SCS office that if some of the stuff was to be kept confidential for like states that is come after Oklahoma. The post on Reddit was made in 2020. If the long range forecast on future DLCs is to be kept confidential, I wonder if I should report the post. But here is the link to the post:

I looked at the reddit post you linked and it doesn't look like the OP ever said anything about being an SCS developer or claiming to be one. It's just an average joe and their educated guesses as to when the rest of the states will come out, which nobody can really predict and is up the the actual developers anyway. So take everything they said with a grain of salt, and it is not anything official or "confidential."

you guys are doubting it but do you truthfully believe SCS has the resources or team to put this out faster than that? Im just being real. Sounds about right to me

He missed HoR for ETS2. Northern Scandinavia is also looking like it will be much sooner than he predicted. Otherwise it sort of mainly looks pretty much as many following map DLC content would think - bar some changes here and there.

Its a reasonably good outlook, but is it from anyone with inside knowledge - no I don't think it is. It is all speculation but it has historic enough back story sprinkled with recent release info to convince some that it will be true, The back story stuff wasn't predicted though - so don't credit that to this person.
You wonder, if you should report a 3 year old post from joe blow on reddit; because you imagined a security breach/NDA violation inside of SCS ?!?!!?

Absolutely !! Just wait for me to get my popcorn....

Sounds more like something AP101 would say, anyhoo, I didn't find any indication that it was written by someone in the know.

My prediction is that they are not going to get all 50 states done and ATS will die a slow death, hope I'm wrong though, not sure about sales, but average daily users isn't really going up.

On a side note, if Oklahoma (the smallest state so far) is done as a single state release you can bet your bum these 9
2023 - Kansas & Nebraska & South Dakota
2024 - North Dakota & Louisiana & Arkansas
2025 - Missouri & Iowa & Minnesota

Will also be single state dlc and it will not be 2025, but 2027 before we have Minnesota.

Case #2 is true in this case.

Honestly it is just like with my prediction on the reworks of the ETS2 base map. When Germany was finished I predicted Austria to be next. When Austria was announced to be reworked I predicted Switzerland to be next.
Finding patterns and making a guess based on that is hardly falling under "knowing internal stuff".

ETS2 was at least a bit more special in its pattern (seemed to be a spiral at one point), ATS there's pretty much only one way they can expand based on comments that have been made
