Recovering Profile accidently deleted it

I need help getting my old profile back i had all the upgrades and alot of money my nephew accidently deleted it, it saved all my driving time on steam but its not on there when i pull up the game

Unfortunately, only your achievement progress is stored on Steam. Your Profile information is stored locally on your computer. If you do not have a backup of your own, you will have to start with a new Profile.

If you go into your "documents/American Truck Simulator" folder, there might be some folders that has older game version profile backups.

Goodiej17 is correct. Go to, "My Documents\American Truck Simulator". Choose the .bak folder with either 1.2.1.1s or earlier & then copy & paste into your "My Documents\American Truck Simulator\profiles" folder. If you had more than one profile, just copy/paste the missing one.

Where is the "American Truck Simulator" folder in Mac OS?! Omg I deleted my profile accidently too. TAT

Oh I found it. It's under /Users/xxx/Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator. Nice I got my profile back. thx :)

There are two normal delete methods in windows:
1: Delete - in the recycle bin
2: Shift+Delete - gone forever (almost - see rookie31st)
