How to speed up time?
Hello,

I'm having trouble speeding up time. Is there a way to do it?

Im trying to buy a new truck but the dealership isn't open and the game isn't letting me rest anymore. I've been sitting in the parking lot for ever and its getting kinda stupid.

Is there an option to take a day off or anyway to speed up time other than just sitting in a parking lot and waiting?

Its pretty lame.

Go drive around a little, In a town and not moving, time is practically 1:1 ratio, But out on the road, and on highways, it's alot closer to 1:35. Do some mapping, or drive to discover a new city.

You could also drive out of town a little then use F7 and call for a tow. This will cost a little bit of money, but teleport you back to the Repair Center and advance the time. The further away you go, the more time will be advanced. Just don't go so far that it relocates you to a different city!

If you don't want to drive around you could open the console and use the "g_set_time" commamd
Escape
Truck Dealers
Select where you want to buy the truck
Visit Selected Dealer
If you're busy with a delivery, above method will not work. Look at the delivery time period. Open Map and drag destination roads way out and drive to destination in extra time frame.

With a fast truck you can disconnect your load, drive around to get extra XP when you will deliver, and when the time comes for the dealer to open (9:00), go back, enter dealer, buy, exit, connect, move to destination for delivery.

And then of course, you can use jump.....after you bought your new truck.

Better still. Deliver and do as I post in the previous messgae.

Alternatively just get a mod to remove the online restriction and buy the truck online instead.

Read Xpliciit's guide in the Guides section and you will see how to use the developer's console and also see how to set time in advance.

Many of this park place is bug when you have cargo and some few do not work at al.

I do like this, and this work nice for the most of the time : Drive to a park sign / Disconnect your cargo and then you move to the park line / Or drive to the park line , disconnect your cargo and drive some few meter and it work.

When it work you se a sign E and you turn of your engine and press Enter
