first responses I noticed on several topics about AZ... "It ain't big enough, "the map just grows with about 50%" (really 50% biggur? woohoo)

Well I was on 99.5% map unlocked before Arizona and now I am back to 64% so this state alone is rather big. If each state DLC is going to be this big/detailed then I don't see why people seem to whine so much.

ps: The new freeway overpasses are crazy.

Are there instructions on how to safely opt in? I would back up my profile to be safe but is there anything else I should be aware of? I have never opted in to the betas before. I don't think I have any mods that will break (only use Jazzycat traffic mods and one for real company names).

i love it so far all my mods work still little off on some pleces but hence the word beta over all its a huge upgrade to the map people just dont have enything better to complain about

traffic mods most likely will crash the game, as do map mods. Skins and company names mods might work ok but no guarantee is given. Best thing to do is unload your mods and start the beta without, then add mods back one at a time to avoid crashes, as soon as your game crashes you know which mod not to use :)
The game will generate a back up but it is always better to have your own back up outsidethe ATS folder as well. just go to documents/American Truck Simulator, copy the profiles folder and paste it somewhere else

Recently I formatted my computer again installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit , but after that my ATS no longer works, only works when I put it in compatibility mode in the Steam beta settings.
