This thing is AWESOME!

If you haven’t seen this yet it was a recent kickstarter project to adapt a real eaton 18 speed shifter to ATS and ETS2. The shifter is plug and play and screws on to Logitech, thrustmaster, and fanatec shifters.

I got this installed yesterday and have put some hours into driving it now. So far I am pleasantly surprised with it. Setup was really easy. I was initially concerned with having more than 3 controllers (wheel, shifter, eaton knob, button box) but setting up my button box as a 4th controller was really easy. SCS did a good job on the controller config file.

As far as the shift knob goes it works perfect. It makes driving a full 18 speed A LOT easier in game. I was using buttons and paddles on the wheel for range and splitter but it never felt right. This just works out of the gate. I did the rubber band mod to my shifter before the knob arrived and the feel of both combined is perfect. Overall I am really impressed with the quality of it and how much of a difference it’s made to the way this game feels. Couldn’t be happier with it at this point.

Yes it works good on ATS. Just a little laggy for me but that probably depends on your set up.

Not sure. I saw people in the forum trying to do custom stuff but you'd have to read through the 60+ pages of that. I think they add them to the app if someone makes a good one. I use the generic MPH one. Everything else on mine is in KMH but I haven't updated it since ATS came out so maybe there are different ones now.

I'm waiting to see what the easy jake is like to install. I wish they had that up when I ordered mine so I could have had it all shipped together and ready to go.

its 2 setscrews to remove original outer caing, it just slides right on ..tighten 2 setcres..bongabanga..plug and play, i Talked to Corey last night.

Yes...and according to reviews. ...still works with pedals, wheel, shift er and button boxes

Mine is the P1 model. They make some really crazy ones but the P1 was just right for what I needed. I use RAM mounts for the button box and tablets.

And thanks for the info on floating gears in this game. I'll give that a shot next time I play it. I was fumbling around at first getting accustomed to the shift pattern of the 18 speed vs the 10 speed I was using before.

I've been considering a DSD button box. Have you found a use for the rotary encoders? I know they are useful in iRacing for radios and setting brake bias, but I'm not sure where I'd use them in ATS.
