What's a trucks 0-60 time? Over a minute

1:04 seconds
That's honestly impressive to me as the truck is only 455 hp hauling over 30k pounds. Has anyone tested the 0-60 time with other trailer weights and horsepowers? Does the size of the truck cab affect speed? This is just one test I did :)

lol, yeah 'only' 455 hp - making well over two THOUSAND Newton-meters of torque... result is hardly all that surprising.

The various cab sizes don't apply any physical effects to the vehicles in the game. It *could* do, you could certainly mod the vehicle to allow for differing mass between the various cabs, but it isn't being done that way in the default vehicles.

I said only because there's also 625 hp beasts out there that could probably scale 60mph in 50 seconds, heh. I tried with a 370hp engine and I got 1:16 hauling 44k pounds of trailer.

You seem to have missed the over 2kNm part... by 625hp 'beasts' I'm assuming you're talking about big-block petrol engines... they're typically only making a maximum of around 200 Nm or so. A full order of magnitude below the class 8 diesels.

Actually, yes they do in a way.
The bigger cab variants require a bigger chassis which has higher weights than the small one.

I guess... though the only difference in mass are between the daycabs and *all* the other cabs, regardless of how large they are. Having said that, there's only two sleeper cab options for each truck and the larger of the two just adds some aerodynamics which won't add a whole lot more weight anyway (relatively speaking).

Still, you're right of course, the smaller chassis on the daycab versions are lighter than the larger chassis for the sleeper cabs.. my error.

I'm talking about the 625hp Kenworth w900.

lol, then I completely misunderstood, apologies. 'Only' 455 vs 625, I understand now (finally, lol).

I did make it super vague, haha. I really only have a clue about horsepower. I fell asleep in class during the Nm lesson :honkhonk:
