How to connect the game with WOT ?
Hello,

I try to connect ATS with World of Trucks. In the game, it says "the game is not connected", so i visited WOT and try to connect the game, but it says "Connect the game using Steam", without any other explanation. How am i supposed to understand how to do that ? Could someone explain to me ? Thanks

On the WoT site they use the Steam API to have you log in to your Steam account to link your WoT account to your Steam account.

After you've done that, when you play the game and click the "Connect" button on the Profile Selection screen, you then enter your WoT username and password to connect the selected Profile to WoT. It will then allow you to upload screenshots to WoT, offer you External Contracts, track your statistics for performing External Contracts, as well as importing your custom license plate if you created one.

Keep it Simple with what i did.

Open the Game, and in the title menu where you select the profile you want to play, there is a button with Green letters that says "Connect Profile to World of Trucks" Click it and fill out any information it asks you, and it will connect.

Dude, you're not listening. Ryu explained it to you above, READ what he tells you, ALL of it, carefully.

I have yet to be able to connect to World of Trucks and I have tons of time/deliveries. I can't use the external contracts either. The problem is I have Windows 10 and don't get a pointer any time I go out of the game window into the Steam pages. I can't even get a suggestion on how to fix this.

I am having the same problem. When I boot up the game it says on the right "online status"-not connected. I went to the WOT site and registered using my steam account and then went back and it says "not connected". When I click to see profile on WOT it says check your internet connection. I am online with steam but in ATS or ETS2 it says "not connected". Very frustrating, maybe I will contact steam.

It's got nothing to do with Steam, they can't help you. You have failed to do the last bit: push the "Connect" button on the Profile Selection screen. Then enter your WoT name/pw.

It seems to be a misunderstand. Could someone explain how to do step by step ? It would be clearer.

1. On the W.o.T. website home page, click on the 'Join Now' link at the top. Use the 'Sign in through Steam' option, it's the one in the middle. Once you've signed in WoT should direct you to create a WoT account.

2. Once that's all done, I *think* (hey, it's been a couple years since I did this) you'll need to confirm the new WoT account via an emailed confirmation link.

3. On successful confirmation, start the game and select the profile (don't load it, just highlight it) you want to link to WoT and check at the right side panel. There should be a BIG GREEN button to link the profile to your WoT account. I'm sure you can figure it out from here.

All of my problems with no cursor and not being able to register was because of havint "mouse tails" turned on. As soon as I turned them off I was up and running in minutes. I did find that there was much more freight available through the contracts than the freight market.

Turn off your adblocker and/or privacy badger and you will see the 'Sign in via Steam' option when you hover your mouse over the 'Connect ATS' option on the World of Trucks site.

It's now 2018 and even i can't login to WOT with ATS 1.32.
ETS2 is connected.
When i go to the WOT site i can click the connect the game button, but then i have to change my password and mail adres. I only have one mail adress.
I also get the possibility to login directly on Steam on the same site, but then i got the message 'already connected with another account.
I sended WOT a mail and got back a verification mail, but still it don't work.
ETS2 is normaly connected to WOT.

P.S.

It works finally.
What did i do : it would'nt work with my profile name.
So i tried it with my normal email and then it works. Strange.
