whichever is not so epa hogtied and will run without issues. Both suck hot air and I have driving a K100 with a Detroit engine that had 450 HP and would put bothe of the said engines to shame.

Cummins provides more power to pull. Paccar is typically an fuel economy engine.

PACCAR purely on the grounds that they are the reason we have Kenworth and Peterbilt in the game. :P

PACCAR has gotten better over the last few years. They had a bad reputation, but now you can't say that one of the them is much better.

A lot of people will tell you Cummins, as it's been there for ages.
PACCAR engines are rather new, but they're quiet, fuel efficient and the issues they once had are pretty much gone.
Cummins engines are pretty much "same same but different" in a way...
Did you know that the smaller PACCAR engines are rebadged Cummins engines?

Take a look at the numbers (hp, torque + rpm) and get the engine you want to have
PACCAR is more common in fleet truck companies btw...

My ISX has served me well over the last few years. The new Cummins X15 will be out soon.
