Yes you can. I have the T500RS, the TH8A shifter and the Saitek side panel, it recognises all 3 and lists them separately.

i have logitech dfgt wheel and it works fine i really like the look of the th8a shifter especially when i watched the youtube videos that you can change the top plate so it can be h-shifter or sequental but i needed to know if i can plug and play using usb connection.
It is a great shifter, have fun!

The clutch is actually modelled pretty well in this game. Having been stuck on a few up hill exits made me realize this quickly. it is typically an on/off switch in pedal form.

I occasionally get a phantom shift, where I physically shift the shifter into another of the H pattern slots yet the game still thinks its in the previous slot. This could be me though as it seems to happen far less when I take my time shifting instead of trying to quick shift.

Your question was clearly answered ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Um, because if you could comprehend what you read then you could understand it was a STATEMENT and then a QUESTION for someone that might be viewing this thread about teh very same shifter. But you being so dumb wont be able to understand that.

Further to those above - ATS/ETS2 will accept up to 5 individual USB connected controllers for input. Your DFGT will count as one device, the game will allow you to use up to four more in addition.

Dude, honestly - Stand back, draw a breath and take an *objective* look - you're clearly off your tree here.

thank you for answering in a polite way. i understand what you sid about the amount of device the game takes thanks for that but does the th8a shifter connect by usb? as a standalone shifter?
The TH8A can be connected as a standalone shifter using USB, definitely. That's been said already. I can confirm this because I have a Logitech G29 wheel and the TH8A shifter.

The TH8A has a pin connector that's supposed to fit in the Thrustamster wheel. The Logitech wheel does not have that connector. So the TH8A ships with its own USB adaptor, which is a USB to pin connector cable that's maybe 3-4 feet long, pin connector at one end, USB at the other. The TH8A can be used on any computer that has a USB port for it.

thank you very much im now ordering one thanks for the help
It's very expensive, it doesn't do anything other than shift gears, but wow is it ever a great piece of hardware. You will not be disappointed!

I should mention, it's pretty big. The shifter knob is a standard automobile shifter knob, so you can replace it with anything that fits on a car. I'm thinking of getting a chrome skull, or something like this:
