I feel SCS is still a small developer. for it to become a full-blown game/simulator and have all this cool content is far a way. but hopefully one day. As for now, we can trust the modding community.

Honestly not my cup of tea. Not even sure if the Argosy was even available in US soil at one point. But it is the only decent cabover truck mod available for ATS at the moment.
Anyway, cabovers aren't used on US roads anymore. The only time I ever see one is at distribution hubs and even then, they're very basic units, no sleepers or anything and only have a single seat. They are used to move trailers around on the lot to either load or unload cargo and get them ready to move out. The manuvering ability of a cabover comes in handy at those places due to a tighter turning radius than your standard bonnet truck.
I doubt Kenworth or Freightliner will ever approve of the old cabovers to be used in this game. They're very old models, do not live up to current emission standards, among other things.
[edit] Did some looking, its the 4th Transformers live-action film, not the two I mentioned.
Wow, me too! There's an unlabelled Ford Mustang in the game, so maybe Fords are in the future. Well, I can dream, anyways. I still like the game even though the Fords aren't driveable.
This.
Though, here in Oregon I still see cabovers on the highways. I think they're rare as you have to put money into them so they canpass the current emission standards.

I'm not saying make identifiable real-life vehicles with the names changed I'm saying make realistic trucks that aren't real. I honestly don't care if I'm driving a Mack truck or, say, a Titan.
Downloaded. It IS pretty sexy. I don't understand why cabovers are so unpopular in the states.
i had the same question, some american guys answered quite well , you should read.

The reason why any type of truck should make it in the game is due to history. Just like in a car game, you get cars from all ages. Why not trucks? Why not enjoy a piece of American Truck history as well?
If you want to just play around with those generic modern automatic day cabs, then just go get a CDL.
And sorry... "brandless" trucks? That defeats the purpose of the Truck Simulator series. I'm for one glad that Majestic was taken out from ETS2 and replaced with Mercedes-Benz.
