I found an old post from 2016 and one of the aswers was from Mohegan13 :D I followed the steps and it's solved. In case anybody experience the same issue, here is the original message:
"Step One: Enable the Dev Console (google it if you don't know how)
Step Two: Load the profile.
Step Three: In the console type: g_remove_missing_accessories 1 and press enter.
Step Four: Reload the last save (do NOT close the game, use the save/load option)
Step Five: In the console type: g_remove_missing_accessories 0 and press enter.
Step Six: Manually save the game (suggest a new save)
See if the issue is resolved. Bare in mind the game might have removed your engines so make sure to double check before attempting to drive or your game may crash.
If the issue is not resolved, make a manual save if you haven't already, sell every single truck you own. Take a quick job to see if the sound is back. If it is, buy some new trucks.
If it isn't you have two choices. Either you can revert to your manual save and accept you're never gonna have sound again. Or start over with a clean profile."
Thank you. :) I have 10+ drivers and 10+ trucks on my main save, and drive shaft torque didn't work on any of them. Maybe I have to sell all of the trucks I have?
It's all good now., and no more pyhsics mods for this guy. :D
I agree though, I havent used a physics mod, and I dont plan to. Because they are pretty fundamental to the game, they can cause some issues when the go wrong, and those issues can stick around. Unlike an engine mod, which will just break one engine, a physics mod can do farther reaching damage.
Yeah, I also bought a brand new truck on my 3 profiles and test with it. Drive shaft tourque always worked on vanilla (as it's suppose to be), but didn't work on my other 2 profiles, which are the ones I used physics mod.
Btw, I agree with you. Things like physics are core elements for the game and one should be very cautios when to mod it. But the best way is not using mods for core elements. Normally I don't use mods at all. Maybe that's why the problem happened, I did something wrong while using the mod. Anyway, I will limit my mod usage from now on. Sound and engine mods only, and maybe the occasional truck mod. Because they only affect certain parts, as you said, and most likely when things go wrong, selling that truck will be enough to fix the problem.
I'm just happy to save my main profile. :)
Nice. I hope you never experience an issue.
