I am soon going to buy a Logitech G920 for my PC and Xbox One. Now I just recently realized that I can buy a G27 shifter (which has more buttons) but will my performance on my PC or Xbox One?

Unfortunately, Microsoft has a history of locking their consoles where only peripherals (like wheels, pedals, shifters, and controllers) made specifically for their consoles will work. XBox One is no different (from my understanding, the PS4 is the same). The G27 is not set up to work on an XBox One.

Edit:. Just re-read your post. Since the G27 does not work on the XBox One, I would imagine that the shifter won't either. There is the G920 shifter available, but like you said, with fewer buttons. Check out the CSIO Technologies SKRS Shifter knob (designed for the G27, but if the knob mounts the same, it would work on a G920).

just get rid of the xbone... most future titles will be available for win10 pc anyway :)

Logitech G27 Shifter althought will work on the G920 it is NOT supported.. Again All of those buttons will NOT work on the G29 or G920. Either use the G27 shifter with dead buttons or use the new G29 shifter. Again G27 shifter isnt designed for G920 or G29, The only thing that will work is the shifter itself NOT the buttons.

Im only pushing that so you dont waste your money and spend more for the older shifter.

Thanks for the info guys looks like I'm going with the new (and cheaper) g driving force shifter
